Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum CRS score to get an ITA?+
CRS cut-offs vary each draw. Recent draws have ranged from 470 to 550+. Category-based draws (e.g., French speakers, STEM) often have lower cut-offs.
How long does Express Entry take?+
IRCC targets an 80% processing time of 6 months (26 weeks) from the date of a complete application. Most applicants receive a decision within 4–6 months.
Can I apply without a job offer?+
Yes. A valid job offer adds 50–200 CRS points but is not required. Many candidates receive ITAs based purely on their human capital score.
