Frequently asked questions
How long can I stay in Canada on a visitor visa?+
By default, border officers grant up to 6 months. You can apply for an extension before your status expires. The Super Visa allows parents and grandparents of Canadian PR/citizens to stay up to 5 years per entry.
My visitor visa was refused. Can I reapply?+
Yes. There is no limit on reapplications. Address the reason for refusal (usually lack of proof of funds or ties to home country) in your new application. An RCIC consultant can help identify and fix the weak points.
